Welcome to the Cannabis Trade Association

The Cannabis Trade Association is a registered non-profit society committed to promoting a safe and legally regulated cannabis industry.

The CTA also provides a group forum for information, education, commentary, discussion, guidance and advice on all aspects of the cannabis industry.

The CTA will provide cannabis producers with an informed and effective voice in the cannabis agriculture industry and will work with government at all levels in a cooperative and responsible manner to ensure government policies and regulations are empirically-based, fair, effective, efficient and in the public interest.

The CTA participates in public relations activities such as advertising, education, political advocacy and public outreach. It also fosters collaboration between companies working in or with the cannabis industry. The CTA is working toward standardization of industry best practices in order to facilitate government enactment of a workable long-term regulatory structure. The CTA will offer many other services, such as producing conferences, networking, sponsoring charitable events and offering classes and educational materials to its membership.

The CTA works tirelessly to build and market the Canadian cannabis industry, creates the business climate that allows members to prosper, liaises with government and stakeholders on key business and regulatory issues and promotes the industry to key media on behalf of its membership.
